Voters to Decide if Fowler Can Build 21st Century School Facility

by Carol Lanham
October 30, 2008

The last time voters in Fowler, Kansas passed a school bond issue, the year was 1966 and none of the students in the district had even been born yet. (Neither had many of their parents.)

On Tuesday, voters will go to the polls again to determine whether Fowler High School will receive $1.94 million in bond money to build a new Monolithic Dome multi-purpose facility. Says Superintendent Sam Seybold: “Our children are our most important asset. Their education is of utmost importance. Their future and our community's future is at stake."
